Baby Chicks!

We have 2 new pets! They are little baby chickens! One is boy and one is a girl. There names are Holly and Max! They are so cute! You wouldn't believe were we got them??!?! We got them as party favors from a birthday party! How funny! But they are so cute! :)

What has been going on lately...

Well it's been a while since I last posted.   

This is what has been going on lately:

- Rebecca and Justin

A few weeks ago Rebecca (AKA* BecBec) and Justin came to visit. So now all of our family has visited Rebecca, Justin, Katie, Talmadge, Mimi, Dodad, Mamaw, and Jim. We had a lot of fun with them here! It was great to see them, but the only bad thing was they couldn't bring Graham and Jake. While they were here we went to Cajamarca... (post coming soon) and there was a construction team here that Justin worked with a few days, we had so much fun with them! Thanks for coming BecBec and Justin! :) 

-Taylor Left

I am so sad and bored because guess what.. Taylor left!!! We all miss her so much! School was fun with her.. but now it is just school. And I don't have anyone to talk to at night. P.S. I usually get pretty hyper at night and start talking to her. Haha!  Its funny when we Skype and she is on the other side of the screen, not with us! Anyways I miss her and want her to come back so bad!

-School
We have gotten back into the routine of school now that there aren't any teams or visitors coming after this coming week. I have moved to 5th grade now, and Ben 3rd.

-Talent Show
There is a post coming soon for the talent show and also Cajamarca! But anyways The Smith's celebrated all there birthdays at once with a talent show! We had SO MUCH fun!

Fiestas Patrias

July 28th is Peru's Independence Day, and Luke and Sam's school had party for it. It was so cute! They did lots of different Peruvian dances. After the program was over all the kids passed out different Peruvian foods. It was really fun! :)

Taylor

This is Taylor. She is awesome! She is living with us until August. I will not let her leave. She is sweet, easy to share a room with, fun to hang out with, laid back and awesome. (and a lot more but that would go on forever) I love her. She feels like family. She is family in fact. She is pretty. Now that is Taylor.

About 2 weeks ago we went to the beach.... it was so fun and relaxing! I am not really going to write much on this post just pictures! ..... Pictures are more fun and more memories! We had a great time!

Yesterday I went in to the living room and found Sam in a airplane reading a book! It was so cute! Its so funny where he finds his little places to do stuff.... like take a nap in a suitcase!!! I just love Sam and I am so glad God put him into our family!! :)

Tennis

Okay... I am a tad late but in like Feb. we started tennis! It is fun!! My teachers name is Freddy! I have made lots of friends! I met a girl named Hiedi and she is from Australia! I also met two other girls both from Peru and their names are Gracie and Gabriella! They are all super sweet, and its good to meet new friends! It is really fun! The teachers are nice and its been good! :) 

Music

A few months ago we started music lessons! It is awesome! Ben takes violin lessons and I take guitar! It has been really good! I love it! The only thing is I am a couch potato and I hate to practice and  for Guitar it takes a lot of practicing! Haha! :)  I really like it! I thought it would be hard and I wouldn't understand the teacher (because it is in Spanish) but I understand him and it is pretty easy! I love it! He said after I learn the notes that I can tell him songs I want to learn! The first song I will pick is probably going to be a worship song! I don't know! Haha! I practice a lot! I have to go practice right now in fact!

Just Peru stuff!

A photo and Sam. :)  So like a week ago My mom, Ben, Luke, Sam and me all went to the mall to get pictures for Sam and Luke's school. No big deal. But we go up these stairs to this little bitty room and it has costumes and stuffed animals and a bunch of "weird stuff"!! So Luke and Sam get their pictures finished and we start to stand up to go downstairs and the man says sit down you get 2 free pictures of all you kids and my mom said we only wanted the pictures for the school and he goes no no no its a gift!!!!!! :) LoL! So my mom goes okay when this picture is gonna go to the trash! So he makes us have stuffed animals!! It was horrible! And now its like a joke because he said come back in 30 min. so we came back in an hour and he wasn't done editing them! It took all night so we had to go get something to eat at the mall and anyways! It was not funny! And we didn't even want the pictures!!!!!!!!!!!! Ha ha! :)

Sam. Sam falls asleep everyday almost for a nap but refuses to get in his bed to take a nap he just falls asleep in different places! A few days ago he fell asleep in a suitcase! And yesterday he fell asleep under the coffee table! And then he has also fallen asleep on the stairs, on the kitchen floor, on the table and in my moms lap! He is soooo sweet though! I have a picture of him in the suitcase asleep!!!

Ice Ice Baby!

We had a guy from Tupelo, who was living and working in the clinic with my dad for 2 months. His name is Ross Stone. (You may know him if you live in Tupelo... he goes to church at Calvary) So anyway, he plays the guitar really well and The Smiths' and he decided to do a remix of the song Ice Ice Baby played by Vanilla Ice. It is really good and funny! Three of the Smith girls and Mrs. Smith all sang backup and Adeline played the harmonica and Mrs. Smith played something that I don't no what its called but its was really cool, and Ross and Mr. Smith played the guitar! It is a really fun song and you can press Here to listen to it! I say you should listen to it!!!! :) It was hilarious watching them do it! One day at Sunday lunch they performed it for us! It was really cute! Fun times!! :)

I reached my goal of eating something gross and weird!

Yep, thats right if you guessed that I ate seaweed, octopus and guinea pig, you guessed correct! :) I did! I ate it! You may think Octopus is pretty normal to eat, but what about Guinea Pig and Seaweed? So I ate it and it was gross! I spit the seaweed right out and the Guinea Pig was really chewy! I will not be eating this anymore! Haha! :)
